Abstract

Among the 1st-year students of the general medicine, pediatric, preventive medicine faculties, faculty of medical biochemistry, as well as the 2nd-year students of the pharmaceutical faculty of the Northern State Medical University, a sociological study was conducted to assess the quality of e-learning in chemical disciplines at the medical university. Northern State Medical University uses the Moodle electronic platform to provide e-learning. The total number of respondents was 241 people. The students gave a fairly good assessment of the electronic course in chemical disciplines (8,1±1,6). Almost all respondents (84,7%) use the Moodle electronic platform when mastering the discipline of Chemistry; 53,5% prefer to pre-watch video materials on laboratory work, perform laboratory experiments in the laboratory of the chemistry department, draw up conclusions under the guidance of a teacher. 76,4% of students constantly use questions in the module of the Moodle electronic platform to prepare for classes. At the same time, 55,2% of students prefer to pass the knowledge control at a practical lesson. 79,3% consider it impossible to use only distance learning in the process of studying chemical disciplines. The most preferred form of education for students is mixed (81,3%). The students made suggestions for changes in the work of e-learning on the Moodle platform.
