Abstract
The quality of regulation of foreign economic activity (hereinafter referred to as foreign economic activity) in conditions of instability is endowed with certain specifics, the source of which is the limited capabilities of the state, both financial and physical. The current situation and the complexity of the newly formed circumstances in Russia necessitates the search for new mechanisms to influence foreign trade, as well as ways to rationally combine tools to stimulate and deter international trade activity of the state. However, at present, all the complexity of foreign trade regulation is associated with the need to preserve the profitability of the state on the world market, as well as maximize budget revenues in conditions of limited opportunities for business development and the functioning of the domestic economy. In this case, one of the main tools for ensuring the implementation of the state foreign economic policy is the legal field, the complexity of which lies in their evolutionary nature of development and constant change, including in conditions of economic turbulence. The purpose of the article is to assess the regulation of foreign economic activity in the conditions of turbulence of the domestic economy, as well as transformations taking place in the strategy for the implementation of foreign economic policy. To achieve this goal, the authors have formed and solved tasks, the main among which was the assessment of transformation indicators in the mechanism of regulation of foreign economic activity, as well as the prospects for the development of foreign economic activity in Russia.
