Abstract

The photochemical method of ascorbic acid determination in medicines has been developed. It is based on photochemical titration of analyte by photogenerated iodine obtained as a result of solution radiation containing 40 ml 0,5 M of potassium iodide, 10 ml of sodium eozinat, 20 ml of acetate buffer solution (рН = 5,6). It was experimentally established that performing of extraction division in components of medicines allows eliminating the impact of coffein on the ascorbic acid determination results. The lower limit of ascorbic acid detection calculated according to 3S criterion makes up 1,15 and 1,02 mkg at the current change and generation time of a titrant respectively. The application of this method of ascorbic acid determination does not require the preliminary standardization of a titrant that allows to lower single time determination. The method doesn’t require the application of expensive equipment. 10.30906/2073-8099-2022-14-2-17-20
