Abstract

The author examines one of the main reasons for the inefficiency of the activities of state joint-stock companies in the Russian Federation. Largely due to the presence of corruption and abuse in governing state joint-stock companies their activities are not as effective as they could be. There is a wide variety of variations in the study area. Among them: unreasonable expenses, purchases of works, goods and services at inflated prices, various forms of abuse of movable and immovable property, reorientation of some of the consumers of products to the CEO’s parallel personal business, hiring employees whose hiring is unjustified from a commercial point of view
