Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the in-depth experience of collaboration between early childhood special education teachers and early childhood education teachers who operate an inclusive classes within the same kindergarten. To this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with 2 early childhood special education teachers and 2 early childhood education teachers to collect data.
 Additionally researcher's research diary, participant's personal journal, and informal conversations through SNS were collected. The collected data were analyzed according to the narrative inquiry process. The results based on the story flow were ‘two teachers facing an inclusive class’, ‘an inclusive class moving forward together’, and ‘a step towards developing together’. In addition, successful inclusive class management was discussed from the point of view of cooperation between teachers. The results of this study are meaningful in that they provided basic data for practical efforts and methods on how to cooperate with early childhood special education teachers and early childhood education teachers who operate inclusive classes in kindergartens in the future.
