Abstract

Climate change caused by global warming is becoming severe worldwide, and interest in carbon emissions is increasing. Conventions and regulations between countries have been strengthened to reduce carbon emissions, and goals for carbon neutrality have been set to solve the problem of global warming. Wood-based materials are one of the building materials and are a building material with an excellent carbon storage effect. In addition, as an eco-friendly material, if applied to indoor remodeling, it will be possible to improve the indoor environment. Therefore, in this study, indoor air quality was analyzed according to the ratio of the application of the wood-based material when remodeling indoor wood. First, after making a scale model, the Volatile Organic Compounds(VOC) change was evaluated when the wood of each species was applied. As a result, monoterpene showed a large amount of emission from larch, and sesquiterpene showed a large amount of emission from cypress.
