Abstract

The article delves into the phenomenon of love, perceived as a semantic and aesthetic co-existence of a man and a woman. The aim of the article is to demonstrate that sexual attraction, which has not risen above corpo-reality, does not yet possess a human dimension proper, but has the potential for actualization, and love is conditioned, but not determined by sexual attraction, which allows it to have a “metaphysical” character. The sexuality itself acquires a special acuteness in language and aesthetic feeling, and pleasure, being verbalized and transformed in the image of the beautiful, intensifies and acquires new overtones, already raising relations between the sexes to a new level of co-existence. According to the article the idea is defended that the condi-tion of love is the integrity of the human being, instilled by the transformation of the loving, loved and surround-ing world.
