Abstract

The problem of the combination of ankylosing spondylitis (AS) and inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) is interdisciplinary. Modern approaches to studying this issue among rheumatologists and gastroenterologists are somewhat different. The combination of these two pathologies is a potential factor for a more severe course of these diseases.
