Abstract

The paper presents the results of studying the geodynamic situation in the massif of the Yestyuninskoye deposit using radon emanation field observations to ensure safe operation of underground mining operations. The methods of field radon measurement, processing of the received data and the results of research allowing estimating the geodynamic situation and using the received information in forecasting the massif evolution are presented in the article. To verify the reliability of the results of the radon measurement, the parameters of the radon emanation field and vertical displacements for the period of the previous monitoring observations were compared. The research has shown the effectiveness of using radonometry in studying the geodynamic situation of the massif under processing.
