Abstract

The paper considers air recirculation as an event to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing the power consumption of the main ventilation fan. The results are presented based on calculations of the required amount of air and modeling of air distribution in the ventilation network of the mine in the AeroSet software package. The methodology of determining the quantitative volume of greenhouse gas emissions, followed by comparison and analysis of the data obtained, has been studied.
