Abstract

The content of the discipline « Valeological Support for Persons with Disabilities in Psychophysical Development » was worked out in the system of professional teaching future specialists in specialty 016 « Special Education » as a necessary component of this training . The purpose of teaching this discipline is to form the willingness of a future teacher to use the acquired combination of knowledge, skills and abilities to provide a solution to the problem of maintaining people ’s with impaired psychophysical development health, the presence of which consists in various mental development disorders, inactivity, slowdown of all movements or motor hyperactivity, anxiety, motor stiffness, rapid fatigability, lack of attention, irritability, lability of the emotional sphere, general weakness, underdevelopment of fine motor skills, impaired visual-motor coordination, differentiated subject-manipulative activity, as a result of an imperfectly developed articulation -muscular system – violation of speech and communicative function, etc. The content of the discipline is determined by modules and topics: module 1 «Valeological activity in educational institution», module 2 «The use of health-saving technologies in the educational process for children with special educational needs ’ teaching , upbringing and development». We see the subject of further scientific searches in the direction of the indicated problem in a more detailed description of the content of lectures, seminars, forms, methods and techniques for their implementation (analysis of video fragments, examples of situations, discussion of the content of film s and cartoons , making fragments of classes / lessons, data analysis on problems related to children's health, etc.), description of tasks for independent work, giving examples of test tasks, etc .
