Abstract
Long term economic depression due to Sewol ferry and MERS, directly hit the traditional market. Thus, this study presents traditional market activation plans through modernizing management, changing merchants' perception and store environment. Especially, various marketing strategies to increase the influx of young adult market customers. This study suggests improvements of store environment and VMD in hardware side, customer service, strategy to attract regular customer, joint coupon system and customer event activation in software side and merchants' kind service in humanware side.
