Abstract

In the modern world continuing education plays the key role in the development of management personnel and is aimed not only at acquiring new knowledge and skills, but also at developing personal qualities that are necessary for carrying out productive management activities, building a successful career and self-realization. Continuing education allows specialists to constantly improve their skills and competencies, adapt to the rapidly changing demands of the labor market and increase their competitiveness. Continuous development of organizations and enterprises leaders is carried out in corporate universities and universities, as well as in non-state business schools. The effectiveness of business schools, universities, and corporate universities has been proven by many years of their formal continuing education activities. At the same time, informal and informal continuing education shows high activity in developing human potential through corporate professional communities of graduates of the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo, graduates of the Presidential program for training managerial personnel, participants of the “Leaders of Russia” competition – the “Elbrus” Club. The article presents a set of personal and professional competencies of managerial personnel, demonstrating the demand for their development from recipients of continuing education for managerial personnel and entrepreneurs.
