Abstract
The article discusses the main areas of activity for the preservation of cultural heritage and analyzes the regional experience of their implementation in the regions of Siberia in the context of coordinating public administration and supporting public initiatives of regional cultural conservation activities. The technological algorithm of activities from the identification and accounting of cultural heritage objects to their popularization is indicated, which includes: inclusion in cultural protection activities, its design and implementation, civilizational cultural use that does not harm monuments. Six types of coordination were identified: triple collaboration, status-advisory, design-obligatory, implementing, adaptation coordination and scientific popularization.
