Abstract
The study deals with the psychological security of teachers which is a pivotal factor in the educational process. The paper notes that the security level of the educational environment is determined by the degree of self-confidence, job satisfaction, protection from the negative psychological impact of educational actors. The research presents and discusses the results of the first stage of a study on this issue carried out among teachers of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The data obtained indicate the favorable psychological climate of teaching staff in educational institutions. Most teachers have a positive attitude towards the educational environment, are quite satisfied with their relationships with colleagues and students, and feel safe from the psychological violence when interacting with them. The research findings can serve as a basis for a detailed and in-depth analysis of this problem. Besides, they will be useful in designing and modeling the psychological conditions of training and education that promote better psychological health and the harmonious development of both students and teachers.
