Abstract
The article deals with the actual issue of methodological tools development for evaluating the formation of social and legal competence of social workers in university education. The criteria for assessing social and legal competence are determined and their characteristics according to individual indicatorsare presented. The main criteria are: the criterion of social and legal orientation, the criterion of social and legal awareness, the criterion of social and legal activity, the criterion of social and legal self-esteem. Specifying the main indicators of each of the criteria makes it possible to track the dynamics of the student’s socio-legal competence in relation to its basic structural components (motivational-value, cognitive, functional-activity, reflexive-evaluation). The degree of development of this or that indicator characterizes the level of formation of social and legal competence, the definition of which is an important component of the diagnostic stage of scientific research. The following levels of social and legal competence of future social workers are identified: low, medium, sufficient, high. The presented set of criteria, indicators and levels of social and legal competence of the future social worker is a necessary condition and the initial stage in the organization of the process of diagnosing the formation of this component of professional competence.

В статье рассматривается актуальная проблема разработки методического инструментария для оценки сформированности социально-правовой компетентности будущих социальных работников в условиях университетского образования. Звертаючись у контексті нашого дослідження до проблеми формування соціально-правової компетентності майбутніх соціальних працівників, ми враховували, що вимірювання результативності педагогічних явищ, оцінювання ефективності, продуктивності інновацій є найбільш відповідальним етапом дослідно-експериментальної роботи. Відповідно питання розробки критеріїв та показників для визначення рівня соціально-правової компетентності є важливим і актуальним в межах професійної підготовки студентів – майбутніх соціальних працівників.
