Abstract
The article substantiates the effectiveness of disseminating the philosophy of lean production at electric power enterprises. It is shown that the methods of the concept under consideration give a positive effect when applied in combination. Destructive factors that generate losses, overload, and uneven production are also present in the activities of electricity enterprises. Adaptation of lean production methods to the specifics of the functioning of energy companies makes it possible to level out the unproductive expenditure of enterprise resources. By reducing the cost of electricity generation, energy companies are able to reduce the cost of electricity generation while maintaining the quality and volumes generated. At the same time, there is an improvement in a number of indicators that form the cost of production, which has a beneficial effect on the level of economic security of the enterprise.
