Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the multi-level linguistic means of a generalized subject in their correlation by the examples of generalized personal sentences in the Chuvash language. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the consideration of atypical cases of expressing this meaning in proverbs and sayings with participial / adverbial participial and infinitive forms. The obtained results have shown that the proverbial conceptualization of generalization at the structural and content levels has its own national characteristics in the Chuvash language. In the analysed examples, we have been able to make sure that proverbs have a folk origin and a close connection with folklore traditions and peasant mentality.
