Abstract

The paper studies the possibilities of using methods for measuring goal achievement in the field of sustainable development using the example of socio-economic systems on a global scale. Based on open access data, groups of variables were selected that characterize the development of countries in these areas for three time periods, and variables were identified that make it possible to construct the most stable and describable clusters of countries. An analysis of the shift of cluster centroids, the movement of countries across clusters was carried out, and the movement of countries towards the target state in the field of sustainable development was quantitatively measured. It has been proven that the results of economic growth in only half of countries lead to significant improvements in income distribution and the environment.
