Abstract

The article considers the ways of introducing other people's speech in Dina Rubina’s prose by the material of her novel “Maniac Gurevich”. It also presents an analysis of the reasons for the choice of these ways and their functions in the text. The article focuses on introducing someone else’s speech, differentiating the areas of the author, narrator, and characters.
