Abstract

The article examines the process of subjectifying reader’s attitude in literary communication, i.e. reader’s personal acceptance of author’s statement. The paper analyzes lexical and emotional-evaluative linguistic means in xeno-narrative texts (narrations within the discourse of crosscultural interaction) and the readers’ reviews corpus. The findings indicate that subjectification process, i.e. the understanding of author’s meaningful and emotional intentions, differs among readers with various national worldviews.
