Abstract

The article reveals the features of the provision of public services as an institution of administrative law. The author paid attention to the study of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs as the subject of their provision. The types and features of the provision of public services to the population by this department are analyzed, the basics of interdepartmental electronic interaction in the course of their provision are considered. The author also examines current problems in the provision of public services to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and offers recommendations for their resolution. Possible trends and prospects for the transition to a full electronic format have been identified in relation to all types of public services provided by the law enforcement agency in question.
