Abstract

The author’s considerations on the essence, role, place, types and forms of public control in the mechanism of control and supervisory activities of the modern Russian state are expressed in the article. Special attention is paid to the issues of public control over the activities of internal affairs bodies. A number of proposals are made on the problems of the institute of public control.
