Abstract
The sustainable economic development of the Russian economy in modern conditions will largely be determined by high-quality personnel training. The theoretical concepts prevailing in economics today show the separation of research methods from the real economic reality. Conclusions based on incorrect theoretical assumptions and the analytical tools used can lead to negative consequences. This situation strongly dictates the need to improve the methodology for the formation of modern economic knowledge and its active application in practice.
