Abstract

In the priorities of tourism development in Russia, taking into account the uncertainty and instability, the main emphasis is placed on the development of domestic and inbound tourism. One of the directions, which is considered to be business tourism, aimed at the growth of tourist business travel and stimulation of business activity in the country. The author considers the goals of business tourism and its importance, provides an overview of the main players. The study of factors and conditions of development of business tourism in Russia allowed to determine its competitive advantages, to identify problems and to form the prospects for further development of the business tourism market in Russia.
