Abstract
Проаналізовано процеси, пов’язані з контрастом зображення, що утворюються за допомогою скануючого оптичного модулятора (COM). Показано, що амплітудний дисбаланс елементів оптичного модулятора викликає принципові обмеження на досягнення максимального контрасту в COM та в інших світлових модуляторах. Це явище може бути компенсовано коректним дизайном і оптимальним вибором відношення ширин стрічка/отвір.
