Abstract

The article discusses the theoretical basis for determining the parameters of a mechanical device for signaling the presence of a bole (trunk) during the operation of a rotary paw of a garden cultivator with inter-stem tillage. The scheme of the experimental setup is given and the principle of operation is described. The cyclogram of the interaction of the rotary cultivator paw and the mechanical probe is given. It is substantiated that the shape of the probe can have the simplest rectilinear form. The calculation of the geometrical parameters of the probe and the return spring is presented.
