Abstract

This study is to analyze the effects of emergency medical service students’ ethical values, and self-esteem on clinical practice stress. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 243 students who experienced clinical practice among 3 emergency college students in J Do and B metropolitan city at 4-year college and 3-year college from Nov. 18 to 25, 2019. As a result of the study, there was a significant negative correlation between ethical values and clinical practice stress, and a significant negative correlation between self-esteem and clinical practice stress. As a result of multiple regression analysis, the lower ethical values, lower self-esteem, 3rd grade and 4th grade showed high clinical practice stress. Therefore, in order to reduce the stress of emergency medical service students’ clinical practice, educational support from schools that can improve ethical values and self-esteem is necessary.
