Abstract

This study is to provide an in-depth approach and analysis of physical activity classes and trail running for trail running competition participants among physical activity classes orienteering students. To achieve this purpose, among the students who took orienteering, an essential liberal arts subject conducted by B University, students who participated in the trail running competition were observed and in-depth interviews were conducted. Various cases and experiences that appear in the process were interpreted and analyzed. The results of such research can be presented in five ways. First, it was possible to confirm the status of physical activity classes. Second, the possibility as lifelong sports was presented. Third, it was found that there was a burden on students in the preparation process for trail running. Fourth, it was found that it was most important to enjoy the participation in the competition itself. Fifth, it was possible to promote psychological and physical health along with introspection.
