Abstract

The article proposes a view of the structure and methodology of the postwar denazification of Ukraine. The conceptual apparatus associated with the subject of denazification is being revised and the author's definition of fascism and criteria for distinguishing Nazism are proposed. The generally accepted scheme for the manifestation of fascism at the state (political regime) and organizational (military / paramilitary parties and movements) levels is supplemented by the sphere of public consciousness and everyday communication practices. An analysis of the concept of “Ukrainianism” is made and its interpretation as a variety of Nazism is substantiated. The specificity of Ukrainian Nazism, its own "intellectual" tradition, which developed independently of the ideologies of the Third Reich, is noted. Comprehensive tasks and principles of combating the institutional and social structures struck by Nazism are formulated. The concept of groups of special attention is introduced and the criteria for their discharge at all levels of society are proposed.
