Abstract

The article analyzes the role of such patent analytics tools as «patent landscape» and «determination of the state of the art in the preparation of application documents for registration of patent law objects» in the implementation of innovative projects of technical universities. The assessment of the patentability of new technical solutions developed during the implementation of an innovative project is one of the main tasks of patent analytics for the protection of these solutions as objects of intellectual property. The article presents the results of the practical application of the above-mentioned patent analytics tools in the field of creating mobile collapsible coatings for temporary roads and parking lots. Based on the theoretical provisions of patent analytics, the authors analyzed the patent landscape of 153 patents of the Russian Federation relevant in this field of technology and developed new technical solutions for the creation of mobile collapsible coatings based on interconnected elements protected by four patents of the Russian Federation.
