Abstract

The article deals with the problematic aspects of staffing the bodies and institutions of the Federal Penal Service of Russia. The authors note the main negative factors currently determining the personnel situation in the penal system, and focus on the need to address the issues of personnel stabilization. Priority directions for solving this problem are highlighted: comprehensive diagnostics of the personnel resources of the penal system and personnel procedures carried out in institutions and bodies; analysis of the implementation of the main directions of work with the personnel of the Federal Penal Service of Russia. At the end the author's proposals were formulated on the formation of a system of measures to stabilize the staff of the Federal Penal Service of Russia.
