Abstract

Tourist hotels in Busan have an average occupancy rate of 61% for the three-year period until 2018, and ADR is down. Due to COVID 19, most hotels in Busan are very difficult to manage. As a result of the study, it is necessary to analyze customers in order to increase the income of rooms and facilities and propose specialized marketing to attract foreigners. Hotels should strive for win-win growth among the hotel industry for increasing ADR. According to the status of each class, the room occupancy rate in second-class hotels is low, so it is necessary to understand the cause and to improve it. We need to increase the stay in Busan and build a tourism and transportation infrastructure that tourists can enjoy. It is necessary to provide educational support for manpower training and system improvement and administrative support, including hotel rating system. It is necessary to hold regular conferences for industry discussions, to have an integrated organization as a control tower, and to regulate, manage, and supervise pre-sale hotels.
