Abstract

This article addresses the pressing issues concerning the selection and training of personnel for the civil service. It emphasizes the challenges faced by Russian universities that provide training in non-specialized fields, illustrating these issues with relevant examples. Additionally, it includes a sociological survey conducted among civil servants to depict the principles and prevailing attitudes within the civil service system.
