Abstract

This paper studies Juliet’s death as completion of her heroic deeds. Marriage is death and death is the completion; departure to a true life; Therefore death could be a gate of resurrection. Death is an essential gateway which everybody must pass. Juliet passed the gate. So Romeo and Juliet could become a sacrificial rite for fertility and their(Romeo and Juliet); death of Romeo and Juliet is both a could be sacred marriage and a feast. The paper argues that Juliet’s heroic deeds are none other than our very own. The most unique characteristic of mark is Juliet represents her audacity. She doesen’t fear death. Although death is the destination all human beings share, nobody wants to die. Juliet doesn’t want to die. Juliet doesn’t let the noise of others people’s opinions drown out her own inner voice. She had the courage to follow her heart. After all, she established a lasting peace in Verona. When we know what we truly want to become, everything else is secondary. If Juliet is a hero by her own will and choice, we would be a hero too by our own choice. We could be heroes and bless our community following our bliss. Juliet is a great hero.
