Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of mother’s parenting behavior, stress, and paternal participation in child-care on young children’s overdependence on smartphones. The participants in this study consisted of 374 mothers residing in North Jeolla Province. The results of this study were as follows: First, young children’s overdependence on smartphones had a negative correlation with paternal participation in child-care and positive parenting behavior of mothers.
