Abstract

The article deals with the problems of the institution of the presidency in the Russian Federation through the prism of the existing powers in the field of political leadership, as well as through the constitutional legal and administrative legal positions regarding the exercised powers of the head of state. The relevance of the article is due to the versatility of the functions of the President of Russia, the relationship with the activities of the executive branch of government, the position he occupies in the structure of government of the country. When writing the article, the author analyzes scientific literature on the subject of the study, as well as legal acts regulating the activities of the head of state.
