Abstract

As the traditional market began to decline, public and private sectors provided various supports to revitalize traditional markets. But its effectiveness was very low. Therefore, this study visualizes the patterns and semantics and identifies the semantic system by using the text data recorded on the web or SNS by the visitors of the market. To grasp the contents of the establishment of the traditional market activation policy and to examine the trend of the change in the perception of the conventionalmarket, the analysis period is divided into four stages and data are analyzed for the periodsfrom 2004 to 2006, 2007 to 2009, 2010 to 2012, and 2013 to 2015 (referred to as the study period). The division period wasthe same as the period when the traditional market revitalization policy was established or implemented as a social policy issue. We used the Textom program to collect the data. We analyzed the collecteddata by using the NetDraw program and performed keyword network analysis and centrality analysis. The results of the studyare summarized as follows: So far, the government policies that have been established for the revitalization of traditional markets are based on the traces left on the Web and SNS. As a result of the analysis, supportive policies that showed high influence came from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism (2008), Onnuri Gift Certificate (2009), and ICT Traditional Market Development Project (2013) The policy includes the Cultural tourism market development plan and the urban alley market development plan (2010).
