Abstract

The article examines the representation of the male image in the lyrical texts of late-traditional Far Eastern folklore, which have not yet been studied comprehensively in this aspect. The nominations of the character and related objects are highlighted, their semantics in the national picture of the world is characterized, and the complex of universal and local motives correlating with the hero is analyzed. The stability of the elements of the traditional lyrical song poetics is proved, and an assumption is made about the image of the Cossack as a regional feature of thestudied works.
