Abstract

This article conducts a thorough analysis of transaction costs arising in the process of managing inter-organizational networks. The authors focus on systematizing the factors that influence these costs and offer a comprehensive classification. The study is based on the transactional approach in economic theory, analyzing both internal and external aspects that affect the efficiency and cost of interactions between firms in the network. A definition of inter-organizational networks is provided, as well as a classification of inter-organizational networks developed. The article contributes to the theoretical and practical base of management of inter-organizational networks, providing valuable recommendations for managers and specialists in the field of strategic planning and operational management. The research results can be used to optimize transaction costs and enhance the efficiency of interaction between companies within network structures.
