Abstract

The issues of the influence of engineering changes in the industrial enterprise products on the goods competitiveness and the enterprise itself are considered, internal and external causes of changes are identified, and the need to formalize the engineering change management system is substantiated. A control model is proposed, which is based on three control loops: engineering changes, product competitiveness and manufacturability, and interaction with the external environment. When concretizing the goals, objectives and parameters of engineering changes at an enterprise a generalized model can help to identify a system of adequate measures designed to create conditions for the enterprise short-term and long-term development while maintaining the competitiveness of manufactured products and the economic stability of the growth as a whole.
