Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of legal aspects of the concept of state information systems in Russian legislation. The author explores the actual problems of the functioning of state information systems and identifies gaps in legislation in the field of regulation of the evaluation of their effectiveness. It is noted that there is a need to introduce requirements for the availability of criteria (including quantitative ones) for evaluating the effectiveness of the results of the creation of state information systems at the legislative level.
