Abstract

The article scrutinizes the role of concession agreements and public-private partnership in the Republic of Ab-khazia in the legal analysis of problems and prospects of their development in the Republic of Abkhazia. The authors ascertain the necessity of adopting a law at the legislative level, which would regulate the issues relat-ing to the conclusion, execution and termination of concession agreements. The paper compares it with the Russian concession legislation, and also states the fact of the existence of interstate relations in this area, albeit not in its entirety. The authors formalize the main problems hindering the optimal development of concession relations, in particular, such as the absence of a full-fledged law regulating the conclusion and execution of concession agreements, the lack of possibility to conclude agreements with foreign companies. The article develops and substantiates a system of measures to resolve these problems, aimed at strengthening this insti-tute of business law.
