Abstract

The article contains the most complete corpus of the known Andronovo bracelets with cone-shaped spiral ends. The total territory of the corpus includes Tuva, Upper and Tomsk Ob’ region, Baraba, Middle Irtysh region, Eastern, Central, Northern and Southern Kazakhstan, forest-steppe Tobol region and Central Asia. The morphological prototypes of Andronovo bracelets with flat spirals from Seymino-Turbino cultural and chronological layer were determined. Besides, examples of Late Bronze derivative forms with parametric attributes of such adornments are given. The bracelets of intermediary forms combining attributes of earlier time and Andronovo objects are described as well. The main specific characteristic of such bracelets is the spiral bigness loosing its flat form but without cone-shaped parameters yet. The proposed absolute chronology of the adornments is based on C14 dating of the complexes of the same culture taking onto account the objects location and morphology.
