Abstract

The article examines Ch. Palahniuk’s creative activity. Creative process is considered in the wide context: as a creator’s intra-personal and interpersonal communication with the world and society. The researcher analyses the stages of Ch. Palahniuk’s creative intention objectivation: from subjective choice of a life situation associated with certain sociocultural and historical reality to its subsequent implementation in a literary text and perception by a reader. The conclusion is made about the mechanism of Ch. Palahniuk’s artistic creation.
