Abstract
The author analyzes mega myth-script of the beginning and end in the works of contemporary Ukrainian writer Mary Matios. The multivariate mytho-script semiotic model is realized through key myths (such as: “music”, “water”) and motives. It has been established that this individual author's mytho-script has its own individual semantic duplicates (finding Paradise in microcosm through images of creators, sowing, germination of peas, search/taming fate and others). The myth-script of ending is realized through the myth – fratricide, discovering the underworld “viper place”, returning to the past – “Pandora’s box” etc. The author has defined a complementary dominant paradigms: the ethnic pagan and Christian ones represented with the help of mythological subjects and mythonims.

У повісті «Москалиця» «вода» розширює свій символічний спектр: від символу свободи (у «дощовій раптовій чи незагаченій воді потоку [...] щось [...] є потаємного, людського, того, що завжди приховане на споді, але завжди рветься на волю» [11, 25]) до матеріалізованого «образу Божого, образу материного» [11, 25]
