Abstract

The article analyzes the specificity of the formation of cultural policy, forms and methods of its implementation in the Buryat-Mongolian ASSR in 1920-1930s. The reasons and consequences of politicization of the cultural space of the national region are considered. The article focuses on such professional groups of the Buryat-Mongolian artistic intelligentsia as writers, artists, directors, and painters.
