Abstract

The paper studies the efficiency of a fire-protective coating based on epoxy resin containing pipe production waste as modifying additives. The effect of pipe production waste on the complex of operational properties of the protective coating is studied. It is shown that the specified modifying additives increase resistance to thermal-oxidative destruction, and also increase the adhesion of the epoxy coating to the metal by 2 times. In addition, epoxy coatings containing pipe production waste are characterized by improved impact resistance.
