Abstract
The paper considers analog and virtual sources from which one can collect the necessary information about any organization and person, their hobbies, interests, marital status, work, political views and attitude to power. The positive and negative economic and social effects of collecting and using such information are analyzed, including as a factor in strengthening the position of global IT companies and development of digital economy and trade.
