Abstract

The efficiency of technological schemes at the mining watered titanium-zirconium deposits was established for the condition of the Motronovsky mining and processing plant pit by the index of the investments payback period. The main components of technological schemes for the mining of flooded placer deposits, which affect on investment attractiveness assessment, are considered. The calculation of capital expenditures during mining placer deposit is given, which allows us to conduct a preliminary assessment of the technological indicators effectiveness. The obtained results during calculation of operating costs show the advantage of the technological scheme where the development of the placer deposit ore bad is performed by a floating hydro-mechanized complex which allows to divide the ore sand on: heavy minerals, clay and sand. At the same time, the results show that the most energy-intensive is the technological scheme mining of the ore body by draglines. The studies for determine the payback period of investments were based on the determination of the present value of cash flows to the first year of pit mining for each of the four technological schemes. According to this index, the most efficient is the technological scheme, where watered titanium-zirconium field is mined by dredgers, and ore sand in pulp state is fed to the processing plant on pit surface. At the same time the worst indicators are determined in the scheme where the ore body is developed by dragline. The obtained results are necessary for the further studies to determine the efficiency of the accompany minerals mining at the placer deposit development.
